Updated Compressor Design: 6511696
gpd now offers an updated compressor design for 6511696 for:
- 2003-2005 Nissan Murano
- 2003-2008 Nissan Maxima
- 2002-2006 Nissan Altima
Both versions of 6511696 (previous and updated) are quality, direct fit replacements designed to meet/exceed OE performance. The updated compressor design described below can be identified by the barcode number and/or date on the outside of the compressor box.
6511696 DESIGN UPDATES:
- Reinforced electrical connector with flexible wiring cover
- Two-piece body design vs. previous three-piece body design
- Four exterior body bolts vs. previous body design with five interior bolts
- Rear redesigned to protect rear studs/bolts
- gpd radiator 2370C suits models with both a transmission oil cooler and an engine oil cooler. Compared to 2423, this radiator is noticeably larger in size and can also be distinguished in the engine bay by oil lines on both sides of the radiator.
UPDATED DESIGN:
Redesigned as a two-piece body with four external fastening bolts.
