2009-2019 Dodge Journey 2.5L Gas Engine Compressor Options: 6512736 and 7513273
gpd offers two compressor options for the 2009-2019 Dodge Journey 2.5L gas engine depending on whether the vehicle model has a rear A/C system.
- gpd compressor 6512736 is suited for models without a rear A/C system. It can also be distinguished by a control valve at the rear of the compressor.
6512736 • Without Rear A/C
- gpd compressor 7513273 is suited for models with a rear A/C system. It will not have a control valve at the rear of the compressor. Refer to gpd Tech Tip #159, “Vehicles with Rear Air” for more information.
7513273 • With Rear A/C
To prevent a leak, ensure all o-rings are replaced when installing a new compressor. Compatible gpd Rapid Seal O-Ring Kit: 1321382
