Hyundai and Kia Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Adapter

It is very common that some vehicle components are changed as models are updated during production. Take notice of the color of the fuel tank pressure sensor connection plug on the Hyundai and Kia applications listed below before replacing the fuel tank pressure sensor. Some models will need to use an electrical adapter plug. gpd fuel tank pressure sensor, 1811261, is designed with a removable adapter to fit all Hyundai and Kia models listed below.
  • Use adaptor if replacing an older model.Typically a flat back style with yellow on the inside of the connector.

  • Remove adaptor if replacing a newer model.Typically the new model will have a square back style.

Always make sure all electrical connections are clean and dry to prevent electrical damage.
