gpd compressor 6511340 is a Sanden style replacement for the OEM H6 style compressor. Just like its OEM counterpart, this is a very
efficient compressor for GM light duty trucks from 1996 through 2002. This compressor is made using the dependable Sanden style body.
The look of the compressor does vary from the OEM compressor but mounts and functions the exact same.

Like all aftermarket units for these applications, it does not include the high pressure compressor switch mounted in the rear head. The
original switch, which was held in place by a snap ring, can easily be removed from the OEM unit and then installed into the replacement unit.
After the snap ring is removed, use gpd #5811490 switch puller to remove the original switch, to ensure no damage occurs to the switch.

If the original switch is damaged,replace it with gpd #1711334, high pressure compressor switch.
