2001-2004 Dodge Dakota Hose Assembly: 4812586
As described in gpd Tech Tip #156, “Hose Assemblies with Inline Orifice Tube”, the location of the orifice tube can vary from system to system. The liquid line hose assembly for 2001-2004 Dodge Dakotas (gpd #4812586) is designed with an inline orifice tube that can be accessed through a bolted connection as shown below. Fittings may unfasten during shipping and transportation. Always ensure fittings are secure before installing to prevent leaking and/or system contamination.
