As described in gpd Tech Tip #137, “How it Works: Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Solenoid”, the VVT solenoid is controls the flow of oil to the VVT system. gpd VVT solenoid, gpd #1811502, is designed to meet/exceed OE quality, fit, and form. Unlike some aftermarket suppliers, gpd #1811502, includes the switch and housing with solenoid.
