Compressor Options for 2009 Ford F Series (5.4 V8)
As vehicle models are updated, some system parts may be altered to accommodate new features within the engine bay. gpd’s research and development team has identified two compressor options for the 2009 Ford F Series (5.4 V8), gpd #6512617 and gpd #6512363. Although both of these compressors are suited for this application, there is a key difference in hose fitting bolts. Compressor #6512617 is designed with the hose fitting bolts facing up towards the left side of the inlet. Compressor #6512363 is designed with the hose fitting bolts facing up towards the right side of the
inlet. It may be difficult to determine which compressor option is needed. The most fool proof way to determine the right compressor, is to open the hood of the vehicle and choose the compressor that would fit based on the direction of the manifold line bolts that you see.
