2007-2011 Ford Crown Victoria Blower Motor & Resistor Issues
Have you replaced a blower motor and resistor on a 2007-2011 Ford Crown Victoria, and found it still not working?
While you may have addressed the initial issue, a new problem could have arisen due to the failure of the original resistor.
You've already inspected the fuse (Blower Motor #20) and the relay in the fuse box, which are in good condition, but you're still experiencing the same issue.
Since this is an automatic air conditioning system, other sensors also affect the performance of the blower motor and resistor. The Interior Temperature Sensor and Sun Load Sensor work together with the temperature control display module (1711891) on the dashboard to regulate the desired temperature.
Check the resistance of the Interior Temperature Sensor and Sun Load Sensor to ensure they are within the manufacturer’s specified operational values.
