2002-2007 jeep liberty and wrangler blower motor & resistor issues
Have you replaced a blower motor and resistor on a 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty or Wrangler, and found it still not working? While you may have resolved one issue, another has likely emerged over time. You’ve already inspected the fuse (Liberty Fuse #18, Wrangler Fuse #15) and the relay in the fuse box, both of which are in good condition, yet the issue persists.
It's time to inspect the fan motor speed control selector switch. Over time, the electronics in the switch can fail. Unfortunately, this switch is integrated into the control module, so the entire component will need to be replaced. Modules may differ based on whether the vehicle has automatic, or manual A/C. Manual A/C systems are more prone to this issue. Be sure to verify the correct module for your vehicle.
